I’ve always believed a life worth living happens outdoors, under cold rain, in the burn of a steep climb, or beside a fire that fights against the dark.

 

The wild has a way of stripping you down to what’s real. It tests you, teaches you, and if you're willing to listen, it might speak. That edge, that raw, unfiltered honesty, fuels the stories I write.

 

Strength of body, clarity of mind, grit of soul. All three matter.

 

At home, life’s anything but quiet. My wife, my gorgeous wife, my anchor, keeps me grounded. Together we’re raising five strong-willed kids (and expecting our sixth!), two loud parakeets, and an aquarium that never sleeps.

 

It’s chaos, but it’s our beautiful chaos . . .

 

My addiction to storytelling began the moment I cracked open Pet Sematary. Stephen King didn’t just give me goosebumps, he also showed me the power within words. Since then, I’ve been chasing that same pulse: stories that hit hard, characters that bleed, worlds that feel dangerously close to our own.

When I’m not writing, I’m reading. When I’m not reading, I’m hunting the next thing that gets my heart rate up — sci-fi, supernatural, action, thrillers, mysteries. Sometimes even a romance or comedy slips in, if my wife calls movie night.
